HANG ON !!!!
JUST TRYING TO HANG ONTO A TWO POUND WEIGHT LOSS OVER THE LAST FOUR DAYS OF THE WEEK>....any ideas......help needed...
Love you when I struggle from Thursday to Sunday.....
I was looking for advice as well. So whoever has some please pass it on. So far this week I've eaten 4 devil dogs, a piece of cake, a Cadbury egg, 2 Caramellos, a bagel with way too much cream cheese and a bunch of other things that I really could have done without. I know how to count calories, I know I should eat fruits and veggies, I know how to do this. So why don't I just do it?!?!?
I too have been struggling for the past few weeks. I've been up and down, and it's driving me crazy! So I've decided to try something new. When I start thinking about food that I shouldn't be eating, I do something to remove that thought out of my head. For instance: Last night after I finally sat down to relax, I had my orange as a snack, but I still kept thinking about more food. So I changed my train of thought by singing a song in my head. Try it! When "those thoughts" come to your head, do ANYTHING to change those thoughts....sing, hum, think of a quote from your favorite movie, think of something funny someone said, tap your finger on your cheek, tell someone a joke, get up and walk around, talk to someone.....the list is endless. As long as it changes your train of thought, it's working! I got the idea from watching "The Dog Whisperer". He uses sounds, touches and jerks to disrupt a dogs train of thought. I figured, if it works with dogs, it might work with humans. It's been 24 hours, and so far, tapping on my cheek bone and singing (in my head, not out loud. I don't want to scare people away) are the two that have worked for me. Give it a try.
