It is day one and Chris and I have already fought about food. Before our first meal. I wanted 3 eggs; he said 2 was enough.
I am definitely the weak one. About everything - food, spiders, etc. Every time we try to diet, I get emotional about the process and we end up giving up. But I reached a point this week when I just decided that enough was enough.
I have stuggled with my weight my entire life. I remeber being on Weight Watchers with my mom before I was 10. I was thinnest in high school...but I was definitely not healthy. Since then, I've had several bouts of depression and each time gained quite a bit of weight. I have also been fairly inactive since we closed our business in 2006.
My goals for the weight loss challenge are:
- lose weight (duh)
- look like this picture but still manage to live healthy
- develop habits to permanently change my life
How I plan to accomplish these goals:
- eat 1500-2000 calories a day
- use the Treadmill and Bowflex we have that are currently collecting dust while home alone
- Biggest Loser Workout videos with Chris
- enjoy being active (hopefully this will come with time)
