
Katie had me try this machine last night at the YMCA. It really wasnt that bad...of course I didnt push myself too hard....just a few more weeks or so ....then I will...but I did 10 laps on level 1, Katie is on level 6, and it moves almost every part of your body...very low impact.....and almost fun....well it sounds good doesnt it....we have got to " MOve it , Move it....
Love you when I got a little bitty pain behind the knee....will push a wee bit more...

Is that the Cybex Arc Trainer? My sister(fitness trainer w/ own gym) says that it is the best machine to use. Uses all your body parts and burns more calories than most machines. I have tried it but really need to get my knee functioning better before I really get into it
It's the Octane Elliptical. What I like best about it is the built in fan :-) It also has a "Arm Blaster" mode where for 10 seconds of every minute it ups the level by 10 to make you push and pull your arms. I can see the huge difference in my arms since I've started doing it.
I did try the Cybex today for the first time though. I got a great workout on it - I did ten minutes and burned 170 calories! It really got my heart rate going too. I'm going to start adding it to my routine.
You go Katie. I am going to try something new today too. We shall see what it is.
