Torture

Complete and utter torture. Absolute misery. Woefulness. Bone chilling anguish.

What could I possibly be describing? Waterboarding? Genocide in Darfur? Religious wars in the Gaza Strip? No, no, and no. It's exercise.

I hate exercising. I detest being tired after physical activity. I abhorr sweating.

I was on the treadmill yesterday morning and was completely miserable. As soon as everyone left for work, I had a glass of water and started walking. About 10 minutes in, I was feeling incredibly nauseous. The combination of sweating, an empty stomach, and a big glass of water was creating a terrible experience. I could only do 24 min (I try for 30) and when I finished, I ate a Lean Cuisine and an orange. At 9am. The thought of milk or cottage cheese at that point just did not sit well.

So far in the Challenge, I have put off exercise and have just been trying to eat better and be more active in what I do everyday. But I'm petrified of losing alot of weight and then being stuck with all this extra skin. I see quite a bit of it on myself now and want to change it. The best way to accomplish this is through exercise and stretches. Maintaining a body fat ratio below 40% is the best way to ensure skin elasticity.
One of my goals for this challenge was to begin to enjoy exercise and being active. I'm not there yet. I think I might really enjoy the Wii fit. It sounds like it makes working out fun. Does anyone have any exercises that they really enjoy doing? What keeps all of you guys active?

The exercise I enjoy most is playing with my kids. I get down on the floor with them and play ball or we set up the bowling or we play chase or hide and seek. For me it's really fun but when we're done I'm exhausted so it must be exercise, right?
