Lula posted yesterday about what our goals are. My original weight goal for the challenge was to lose 100 pounds in the 6 months. Last week, I hit my down 20% weight. Today, I am 11 pounds away from my 100 pound goal. My ultimate goal is to be 150 pounds which is down 65% from my starting weight.
But after my 100 pound goal is my "under 300". "Under 300" and 30% are almost the same so they wont be different goals. The next will be 40% which is also the "trying for a baby" weight goal.
I have been giving myself small goals throughout the challenge. It makes it more reasonable and seem more attainable to me. If I think about my total weight loss journey at once, I get overwhelmed and feel like giving up and that its not possible.

On the day I hit 20%, I went back to the Beginning of the blog and read straight through. I recommend doing this to ALL of you. For those who have just started, it will let you know that we have all been in those shoes and show you how far you can come. For those who have lost their way, I hope it will inspire you. For the rest of us, it will be some subjects you can revisit and think about how much you've done in such a short time. After reading, I felt really good about all that has happened but also a sense of urgency about all that is left to fix. Some of the battles I was fighting in September are battles I am still struggling to win.
I wish you all luck in reaching your healthy living goals and hope that this blog has helped and continues to help.

Thank you Katie for your great thoughts about our goals. I have reread some of the blogs and it does me good. Keep on going.
