Afternoon Quickie

Ok - now that I have your attention...

WHERE ARE ALL OF YOU?!

I think it's just me and Lula hanging around here lately and lord knows I don't really have the time to be hanging around here.

But I have just a few quick words to say so, here it goes. I was packing up my kitchen and pantry today and yesterday when I found cans of Slimfast and diet meal replacement bars. If any of you are like me, there has been more than a handful of times when you've said to yourself, "This is the thing that is finally going to get me to lose weight!" Only to waste a bunch of money and have it collect dust for 4 years (in the Slimfast case) or 6 years (in the Bowflex case). I've spent so much money looking for THE THING that will get me to lose weight. But THE THING is in your head. You just have to make up your mind to do it. It's not about doing it tomorrow, or doing it Monday, or after Christmas, or as a New Years resolution.

It is about doing it right now! And it doesnt cost a penny (which is great for this time of year). There is nothing to lose except the weight and what you get in return is a life!

So true Katie!! All the videos, equipment and diet products in the world won't do a thing unless you make up your mind to use them. That's the difficult part. You have to make a concious decision to DO IT!! You have to want to lose weight and get healthy. After that decision is made, don't think of it as a "diet". It's a new way of life....a healthier way of life, and you'll feel and look much better living that new life. I know, it isn't easy, but NEVER GIVE UP!!! If you fall off the wagon, all isn't lost. Just forget about falling, get right back into it and continue on with your new life. The holidays are full of temtations, but don't let the stress of it consume you. Just live one day at a time and do your best. When I say "your best", I mean make yourself proud. We all have the capability of getting thinner and healthier. Let's "just do it!"
