Yvette, one half a pound is good, just think over 6 weeks, 1/2 a pound a week is 3 pounds. Now on to Angie and Aunt Ann. What do I have to say? Angie, you couldn't take a 10 minute walk every day? Just TEN minutes, take some time for yourself, tell Jerry, WATCH THE BOYS, or bring them over to Dad and make him watch them while you take mom for 10 minutes. And I do not want to hear any foolishness about cold. Aunt Ann, Aunt Ann, Aunt Ann, it may be that Uncle Bob is your problem. He may not want to change and that is ok, but you have a bigger challenge than all of us. Jerry is skinny. Serge only has a small beer belly. Katie and I are in it together. My mom and my Dad are on the same team. (Although my Dad loves his bread and take out food.) Tom and Tracy are both working their programs. Aunt Jeanne cooks and Mike has to live with what she cooks and so, he may not be "in the game" he is still losing weight and supporting her efforts. I am not saying that Uncle Bob is not supporting you, but since he is not embracing a new healthier lifestyle, and he still loves his mountain food plates (man, I could use a mountain good plate with meatloaf and mashed potatoes right about now) it makes it much harder for you. So the fact that you have done what you have done is amazing. We are here with you, all of us, call if you need us.
All in, not a bad week, Jessica, Angie, Dad, and Aunt Ann - step up. Good luck during Thanksgiving week. Remember, if you stay even this week, you've won!
