Week Six Results

So, John and Paula wasted the competition this week. Katie and I just had an off week, but watch out, we're making changes and will come back with a vengence. Mom and Dad lost FIVE POUNDS this week, to post a greater than 1% loss just for the week. Overall, Katie and Chris are still way ahead at 69.8 lbs lost for 9.25% of their base weight to Mom and Dad's 25 lbs at 5.54% to their base. Congrats Mom & Dad on your terrific weight loss for week six.
Unfortunately, we did not get Aunt Ann's numbers to publish, when she send them, I'll put a quick update out. Welcome Jessica to the game, you had a great first week losing 5 pounds, I'm hopeful that the trend will continue. Tom and Tracey put up the largest % this week among the extended group at 1.84% of their prior week weight. Overall Angela has lost the most % of body weight to her starting point with 14.5 lbs for 6.92%.
In total, the MWC Participants have lost a combined weight of 148.1 lbs at 6.67% of their starting weights. Take a moment to pat yourselves on the back. Also, if you could send me your weight loss challenge goal weight (we end in March) and your eventual ideal goal weight, that would be great, then I can see how close we are getting!Due to overwhelming demand, above are Bart's results for the week. That's right, he lost 1.6 lbs, and yes, it is 3% of his body weight. To put that in perspective, for me that would be a 9 lbs+ week for me. I got beat by a dumb dog, that eats everything in sight if allowed. If only I could hite somebody to feed me, and only give me food after I've jumped and pleaded, used my puppy dog eyes and put my chin on their leg, maybe then I'd have a chance.

Lastly, I know Katie and I had a bad week, this is going to happen to every one of us as some point. Rather than getting discouraged and eating a bowl of ice cream (yum!) we are going to redouble our efforts. This is the only response to a plateau or a slow down. Keep that in mind if you feel stuck.

Dont forget though , if you dont eat enough food...you body will go into starvation mode and not give up the calories.....google it and you will see what I am talking about...not to say that you need to eat chips...but choise foods wisely...

Chris, I don't want to sound ungreatful for all your hard work, but I've lost more than 3.5 lbs. I've actually lost a total of 7.5 lbs. Must be a typo.

Congrats to everyone!! We're all still melting away the fat and getting healthier!!!

ugh.. everybody is a critic... yeah... i had it referenced the wrong way... forgot my $ on the v to base in your section. Everybody else was ok... odd... its fixed now, it will be correct in the update next week. Sorry I robbed you of 4 lbs!

Yeah 4 punds is 4 pounds.. Welcome Jess... It is alot of fun and up lifting.. I thought for sure my bad week was this week... Happy to say tis not.. But thank you Chris for reminding me that everyone of us will have a bad week and it does not give us the write to keep cheating ourself if we dont get back on track.. Have a good and Yummy ( with only healthy food) week
