Mom seems to think we're celebrating too early but, we know that this is a marathon - not a sprint. But it sure feels good to pull ahead early!
This week definitely wasnt easy though. I felt like I was tired all the time but, I think poor Bart had it worst. There was no way to explain to him why he couldnt have snacks with us or go to McDonalds. I actually heard his stomach growling during the week.
There are definitely some things we can work on this week. We only did one day of Biggest Loser workout and we only took Bart for a walk on 3 of the other days. We didn't start this week off very well either - we convinced ourselves that we didnt have to work out tonight as our prize for losing the most weight last week. I will also try to cut out more wine this week - dont need the empty calories.
Good luck next week to everyone!

Hi Katy and Chris. You are doing great and that is helping me getting the 25 I gained since the fire. Katy mentioned WINE. I cannot go near that stuff if I am trying to lose. Ask you mom. Since last Friday I dropped 1.5 and that leaves me 23.5 to go before I can fit in my fall clothes. Keep on going!!
Way to go Aunt Jeanne!! It's really great that we've developed sort of this team who is trying to lose weight with us. It truly is the Martin (extended)FAMILY Challenge!!
Way to go Aunt Jeanne... Try to make a mental picture of 1500 to 2000 calories a day, then target that...Its a recipe for success!!
