Okay okay...I am not saying that Dad and I are the good guys (but this week we are) I was trying to find a winning song and came across this one and it made me think.....
ring in the new year......do something you have never done...reach for the stars...on inch at a time....hug a friend...all that good stuff...but think ahead and imagine what a great year 2009 is going to be .....I am not trying to rush my life away...I live each day to the fullest...but just imagine how great we have done in 3 weeks...the new year will be 3 months from now.....Just how wonderful will it be with us ....yes all of us....feeling much healther and light hearted because we care enough of ourselves to do this ,,,,,not only for the compition ( Chris I am up for you week weight loss chanllenge...but I will be healthy...I wont starve myself , but I will be good the whole week and not just part of it) but for the good that it will do to improve the life we live....I just want to be able to stoop over and pick up something off of the floor and not get winded from it . Or be able to use just a plain ole bath towel instead of a beach towel if I have to run from the shower to the bedroom, or tie my shoes in the middle and not have to grab the pants leg to pull my leg up to tie my shoe. silly huh...but how great we will all be....I am looking forward to my journey and how much we will be able to celebrate.....Life is good.
