Holiday Mini Challenge

So here's a challenge for everyone. But first the set up...

It's been said that the average weight gain during the holidays is 8 to 10 lbs (I don't know if this is true but go with me folks) and heck it's easy to see why with all the turkey and side dishes, tasty desserts, Christmas dinner, meme's meat pie, Holiday parties, New Year Celebrations, etc. For many it starts with the Halloween Candy, goes downhill with the Turkey and then we've given up by the time the Christmas ham is served so we just party like crazy on New Year's Eve because we all know the diet will start on January 1st. But this year will be different for us because we all have a goal to be healthier and we are stronger than the pressures of holiday food and what's more we have a head start!!! We're already living our New Year's resolution now. Look at it as being one step ahead of all your friends and coworkers.

So here's the challenge. Write down your weight today. Write it on a pretty piece of paper, decorate it, hang it up on your fridge or in your office. Put it in a place where you'll see it often. Then 3 months from now on January 2nd look at it and be proud of the fact that you weight less than what was written on that page. You can do it and keeping your focus on that paper will be a great reminder that you can lose weight over the holidays.
