Environment

Many of you are lucky that you are able to control your environment. Becky, congrats on dumping the soda and the high calorie frozen dinners. I would love to do this at my house. Unfortunately, I am faced with having to have the stongest will power known to man in order to lose weight. Currently in my house I have sugar cookies, Oreos, Little Debbie Valentine cakes, ice cream, donuts, chips, at least 5 kinds of cheese (none of them low fat), soda, juice, whole milk, bologna, etc, etc, etc. Of course I also have a drawer full of fresh vegetables, tons of frozen veggies, fruits, applesauce, turkey, lemon ice pops, WW ice cream bars, light popcorn, etc. But honestly when the people around you are eating junk you want to eat junk too. Serge says he buys the junk for the kids but it's really for him. Today his "snack" was a microwaved glazed donut with a huge scoop of ice cream on top. The other day it was a WW Oreo ice cream bar, with a fat free chocolate pudding on top and 2 reduced fat Oreos crumbled on top of that. Not sure if that constitutes "diet" food. Anyway, I know this has to be about me and my desire to change my body and my health. So, I work harder and just try to ignore what's going on around me. If only celery tasted like Oreos.

I totaly understand Jess. Becky and I talk about what to have in the house and what not to all the time. One thing that i dont want to happen is to have Rahni have the same eating habit as me.

We continue to have good choices for her. unfortunity we are the ones who are making the bad choices for our self.
