I need to stop weighing myself everyday! I used to be a strict twice a week gal - once on Wednesday or Thursday to check progress and again on Monday. Somehow I've converted to once or twice a day and it's making me nuts!
I am doing the exact same things I did last week and I have gained 1 pound this week whereas last week at this time I had lost 4 lbs and 9.5 at the end of the week. It's a bit discouraging when you think you've found some things that work really well and then the next week, nothing works. I know that there are going to be weeks like this but I just had one! UGH!
Hopefully, Monday morning will tell a better story than Wednesday morning did.

I'm guilty of the daily weigh-in too! Today I'm up 1/2 lb, and that's discouraging, but now I know I need to work harder today. But then when I'm down, I tend to think... hmmmmmm, maybe I can add a snack today. So that's not good either. So I understand why it isn't a good idea to weigh in every day. But the suspense would kill me!!!! So I guess we just have to keep eating healthy and make our exercise routines a little more challenging. Hopefully we'll continue to lose weight. If it comes off more slowly than we would like, or if we gain a little, we can't get discouraged and quit! Slow and steady is a good thing!
So keep on keepin' on Katie. You're doing great!!!
It is our anniversary tonight... so we won't be gaining any ground...

As far as the weigh in thing, I am guilty too of that but if I don't I stray. I know my body and the fluctuations that come with being over 50. YUK Anyway you do what you have to do but don't drive yourself crazy either.
