
Did you ever say this...or better yet ...did you ever talk yourself into a "hidden snack."
For Example....
... You are going to the store, you didn't want to go in the first place, but you need to get something.....so....to make yourself feel better about having to go out once again, you pick up a candy bar....you know that you shouldn't...but you do anyway , and you talk yourself into many reason why you CAN have it. like...I was good today....I have been following my diet to the T....I will walk extra steps....I will eat a smaller portion at dinner...all of the above and more...and when we SET OURSELVES UP for this it works almost all of the time.....I deserve it...I want it...I will have it....
Then what happens...
You eat the candy or whatever the treat is....you eat it really really fast and you HIDE the wrapper so no one else will find it...
WHO ARE WE KIDDING.....ONLY OURSELVES.... hidden food is bad especially when we are hiding it from ourselves...who are we kidding anyway...
Be Aware of your actions and reasons for these little slip ups....
