Slow and steady wins the race

Its been a while since I have posted because of a lot of different reasons but I think Katie is right we all need to jump back in and post notes. Advice, encouragement or anything helpful.
I just want to say that we all know weight loss is not an easy thing. If it were there would be no obesity to speak of.
We all struggle and we all have setbacks but its about picking each other up and dusting them off and helping each other get back in the game. There is no great support in the world of weight loss as the buddy system. So find someone you can turn to for support and encouragement. They don't have to be your team mate they can be a co worker or friend. Find that person or persons who know how to motivate you towards success.
My weight loss has slowed down significantly but I haven't given up and believe me there are many times when I have wanted. But I have the constant reminder that slow and steady wins the race. I wasn't always going to have those big numbered weight losses weekly. I knew eventually they would slow down I guess I just didn't want them to. But whether I maintain or lose a pound a week I am happy that the scale is not going back up. It took me a long time to get where I am today.
I know I am lucky to be surrounded by people who lift me up daily by reminding me of my progress, feeding me positive thoughts, encouraging words and most of all love. Having a great support system is amazing. Because when I want to quit and give up I always have someone behind me pushing me forward.
One of my goals for this week will be to keep myself positive and to seek out a friend who needs encouragement and pick them up and take them on this ride with me.
Remember every ounce counts. Slow and steady wins the race. Lets do this together
