Happy Valentines day to all! Although I don't have a "sweetheart", I am blessed with a very loving family and many loving friends, so this is still a happy day for me. But like all holidays, it can be challenging. Yesterday at work, someone brought in stuffed strawberries (with a cream cheese filling), and heart shaped brownies! Yes, I did cave in to the temptation, but I did the stairs (all 90 of them) two extra times to burn off some of those naughty calories. I'm sure it'll be a challenging day for some of you too...going out for that romantic dinner and all. But those challenges are all part of the journey. Some of us slip, but get right back into it. That's the important part...getting back into it without beating yourself up or getting discouraged. So have a great day everyone, and don't forget to tell your loved ones you love them!!! They may know it, but it's always nice to hear!
