Week 10 Results

I did not lose weight this week. I stink and I would probably fail the naked mirror pizza test. Having said that, mom did not lose weight other. Katie and Dad carried the week. Dad lost FOUR pounds this week. Mom and Dad gained ground on the total % to base, is this the start of a trend? In total, the core teams have lost 130 lbs or 10.8% of their weight.

Look pizza lovers, first we will talk about the good. Yvette continued her slow and steady pace towards wasting all of you. Mike and Lisa had a great first week at 6.5 lbs or 1.46% of their weight. Tom and Tracy lost three pounds this week as well.
Now the bad. Angie - you get a pass, but remember, its not what we do when we are on program that drives our results, it is what we do when we are off program. Aunt Ann, you're right, you need to try harder. Aunt Jeanne, a few glasses of wine does not equal two pounds. That was the symptom, not the weight gain disease, just think about how your week went and be honest with yourself, you will find other issues. Jessica, Jessica, Jessica, you have now slid two weeks in a row, if you are not careful, you will give up. This week has to be your week. GET THE JUNK FOOD OUT OF THE HOUSE! Look, yesterday I "cheated" and the most damage I could do was a bowl of radishes and carrot sticks with light dressing. Katie cheated and the most damage she could do was chex-mix. Just get rid of the junk food. When 95% of nutritions are ask, how many fast food meals are part of a balanced diet, they say, ZERO. They don't say moderation is key, and the 5% that do, they are probably paid by the Fast Food Industry.

On a happier note, as a team we have reached a real milestone this week, with 203 total pounds lost, we are now over 200 pounds in total weight loss. This does not happen by accident, so congrats, we just all need to be more focused. (well, those of us that didn't lose or that gained)

Bart the dog lost .8 pounds this week for 1.56%. To put this in perspective, a roughly 50 pound dog beat me, Katie, mom, Angela, Aunt Ann, Aunt Jeanne, Yvette, Tom and Tracy, Mike and Lisa. Only Dad beat the dog. Keep in mind, the dog has zero self control, no ability to say no to food and only exercises if we take him.
Now, who is going to let this week happen again? Not me.

Way to go Yvette - you'll be zipping up those jeans any day now!
