Low Cal Recipe - Part Deux

The last time I posted a recipe, someone gave us a hard time saying that there was no way my omelette looked like the picture. So here is the real picture of the recipe! It is a Chick Pattie Sandwich. Thats right...not Chicken, Chick. We used Morningstar Chick Patties - you can find them in the freezer section at the Grocery Store and they come in a green package. They are soy but they are really REALLY good! One sandwich is only 275 calories!!

2 slices Weight Watchers Wheat Bread ---> 90 cal
1 Chick Pattie ---> 140 cal
1 tbs Light Mayonnaise ---> 35 cal
Lettuce and Tomato ---> 10 cal

We had 2 sandwiches and peas for 640 cal for dinner. It was so satisfying and delicious and EASY that this recipe is definitely a keeper.

I have to tell you... it really was one of the great sandwiches since the diet began. The bread is good, of course its not the fat-laden super high calorie deliciousness we used to enjoy, but it works well. With the low-fat mayo and the soy Chic patties.... YUM YUM YUM!!! They will be a once a week event in this house for some time!

I like the idea of swapping recipes. I will be sending out some in the near future. All of us are doing great from the looks of things. There will be a lot to compare by holiday time.

Hey Chris and Katie,

Try the Country Kitchen light hamburger buns. I don't know the calories but I think they are 1 pt on WW which would be about 60 cal?
